Junkie stabs neighbor for calling him a ‘dishwasher’

The only surprising thing about this story is that a man who’s supposedly under the influence of drugs actually agreed to wash dishes.

“Police said that a snide remark about being his family designated ‘tagahugas ng pinggan’ (dishwasher) provoked 23-year-old Emmanuel Dalusi, who was reportedly high on drugs, to stab 30-year-old Marvin Ramos, his neighbor in Barangay Pinagbuhatan, Pasig City on Tuesday, Dec 24,” reports the Philippine Daily Inquirer.

Dalusi was arrested after the attack, while Ramos was brought to Pasig City General Hospital and later transferred to Chinese Medical Hospital. Dalusi’s mother, Sandra, later revealed that her son and Ramos had only known each other for two days.

Dalusi is now detained at the Pasig police headquarters. He will face frustrated homicide charges.
