June 24 declared a holiday in Manila

When you’re celebrating your 443rd founding anniversary, you deserve a break.

“Malacañang has declared June 24 as a special non-working holiday in the city of Manila,” reports Genalyn D. Kabiling in Manila Bulletin.

The proclamation was signed last May 7 by Executive Secretary Paquito Ochoa Jr. by authority of President Benigno Aquino III.
