Jollibee mulls acquiring US-based fastfood chain

This bee is getting very busy.

“Jollibee Foods Corp. (JFC) chief executive officer Tony Tan Caktiong said on Friday, June 27, that the company is looking to expand its operations in the U.S.,” reports ABS-CBNnews.com.

JFC currently has 29 branches across the U.S. and it’s “also considering acquiring a U.S.-based fastfood chain.”

The report also noted that “Tan Caktiong, who is retiring as chief executive officer by July 1, will be replaced by his brother, current chief operating officer Ernesto Tanmantiong.”

Now we’re curious about which U.S.-based fastfood chain they want to acquire.
