“At least 80,000 jobs will be available in the ‘Unlad Kabuhayan’ job fair, which runs from Jan 24 to 26 at the SMX Convention of the Mall of Asia in Pasay City,” reports Vito Barcelo in Manila Standard Today.
The job search shindig (in a manner of speaking) is courtesy of JobsDB Philippines, who has partnered with Unlad International, an international nongovernment organization, and the Department of Labor and Employment.
The report quoted Sheryl Tiburcio, JobsDB country manager, who announced, “There will be 200 companies participating in the fair and many openings are in the fields of information technology and communications, hospitality and care services, food and beverage sales, as well as customer service representatives in the building and construction sector.”
