Jinggoy’s request: Don’t arrest me at home

They say beggars can’t be choosers, but, perhaps, embattled senators can make requests.

“Senator Jinggoy Estrada is resigned to the fact he could be arrested and detained anytime after being charged with plunder in connection with the pork barrel scam,” reports ABS-CBN News correspondent Lynda Jumilla on ABS-CBNnews.com.

However, Estrada has one request for those who will arrest him. “I have already spoken with a ranking policeman, a general in Camp Crame,” he said. “I said, ‘You don’t need to arrest me, you don’t need to go to my house because my kids may get traumatized, especially the little one. Just tell me where to go and I am willing to go there.”

The senator has a four kids: Joseph Luis Manuel, Julian Emilio, Janella Marie, and Julienne. The first three may be old enough to understand what’s happening, but Julienne, Estrada said, is still too young to know about the pork barrel scam controversy.
