Jinggoy will never be Manila mayor, says Erap

If he’s not running for mayor, then he’ll probably go for something else.

“Sen. Jinggoy Estrada will not run for mayor of Manila in 2016, his father, Manila Mayor Joseph Estrada, said in the Sunday, Mar 9, interview with GMA-7’s Jessica Soho,” reports Jose Rodel Clapano in The Philippine Star.

The elder Estrada was quoted as saying, “That is far-fetched. I am the one telling you that Jinggoy will never become mayor (of Manila). I am the one with many exes. Ex-mayor, ex-senator, ex-vice president, ex-president and ex-convict. Who knows, (my son may) become vice president.”

Estrada added that his son has not told him about any plans to seek a higher post in 2016.
