As news broke out that the Ombudsman had granted immunity to pork barrel scam whistleblower Ruby Tuason, Senator Jinggoy Estrada talked to ANC in a phone interview.

Estrada is among those whom Tuason claims benefitted from the scam that was allegedly orchestrated by Janet Lim Napoles. Tuason used to work for the Estradas. She organized parties for them, among other things.
The senator weighed in on Tuason’s newly granted immunity, saying, “I was not surprised, at the onset I expected that Mrs. Ruby Tuason will be granted immunity. We all know that this is already a done deal and the only real targets of this persecution from the very beginning are the three senators.”
The two other senators Estrada is referring to are Senators Bong Revilla and Juan Ponce Enrile.
Estrada then added, “In the unfortunate event that an information will be filed before the Sandiganbayan, I am very confident that we will be victorious in the end and Mrs. Tuason will crumble in the cross-examination.”
