Last week, the Sandiganbayan raffled off the plunder and graft cases of against Senators Juan Ponce Enrile, Jinggoy Estrada, and Bong Revilla. The three had been indicted for their alleged participation in the Priority Development Assistance Fund (PDAF) scam.
Enrile’s cases went to the 3rd Division, Estrada’s to the 5th Division, and Revilla’s cases are with the 1st Division.
“On Monday, the 5th Division issued a hold departure order preventing the flight of Estrada and 13 others. Included in the order are Estrada’s former chief-of-staff Pauline Labayen and 12 others,” reports Camille Diola on Philstar.com.
The report said that “the hold departure order was the first action of the division following the raffle of cases last Friday, June 13, 2014.”
