On Wednesday, June 11, it was Senator Jinggoy Estrada’s turn to deliver his privilege speech in response to his being named in the pork scam controversy.
Basically, Estrada said, “Hindi ako natatakot na makulong. Hindi ako kailangan kaladkarin kung dapat kami arestuhin. Ako ang mismong susuko (I am not afraid to go to jail. I don’t need to be dragged to jail. I shall willingly surrender.)”
That is, of course, what he has been saying all along.
Apart from that, he maintained his innocence and once again said that he felt he had been singled out by the administration in the so-called probe.
“Parating si Tanda, Pogi, at Sexy (It’s always been Tanda, Pogi, and Sexy),” he said, referring to the nicknames that Napoles had given Senators Juan Ponce Enrile, Bong Revilla, and him, respectively.
