Authorities arrested a man on Monday for robbing a woman inside a jeepney, reports Aie Balagtas See in Philippine Star. Danilo de Vera was caught by police along Antipolo Street in Tondo, where he ran to after snagging Jean Niegos’ valuables. The victim was on a jeepney when the suspect jumped into the vehicle and threatened her if she did not surrender her belongings to him.
Turns out, he’s wanted.
Upon checking their records, police officers discovered that De Vera had escaped from the New Bilibid Prisons’ medium security compound in 2012.
