The string of suicides that started sometime around the Holy Week continues.

“At around 2:45am on Tuesday, April 22, Renato De Jose, a 52-year old jeepney driver, allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself inside a comfort room inside a house located at Francisco Compound in Barangay Apolonio Samson, Quezon City,” reports Francis T. Wakefield in Manila Bulletin.
According to witness Arnel Agustin, he was about to get water when he saw the victim “hanging on the steel thrust at the said comfort room with a blue nylon rope looped around his neck.”

Agustin immediately informed barangay officials about what happened. They, in turn, sought the police’s help.
Police said that “they are looking at the possibility that the victim might have committed suicide due to financial problems.”
