Jeep carrying inmates hits car of Leni Robredo’s mother

What an unlikely incident.

A jeepney carrying 11 inmates hit the car of Vice President Leni Robredo’s 82-year-old mother in Naga City on Mon, Jul 11.

Robredo’s mother, Sally Gerona, was shocked but she is now safe. No one got hurt in the incident, GMA News reports.

Gerona said that the jeep cut into the car’s lane and bumped their vehicle. The jeepney driver admitted that it was his fault.

The jeepney was on its way back to jail following the hearings of the inmates.
