A 16-year-old girl survived another attack from a woman who accused her of having relations with her husband, reports Pilipino Star Ngayon.
The girl, who works as a canteen helper in Paranaque City, is recuperating at a local hospital after getting shot by the suspect, identified by the police as Aiza Naga.
Investigators said the girl was walking along Sto. Nino Street in Pasay City on Monday when the suspect blocked her path and shot her in the chest. The victim managed to go to a nearby police outpost, where the police rushed her to a hospital.
Authorities learned from the victim that it was the second time the suspect tried to kill her. The suspect stabbed her once after the latter accused the victim of having a fling with her husband. The victim hailed the suspect to court, but Naga managed to post bail. The case is still pending.
