An unidentified man who tried to jaywalk along Edsa near Shaw Boulevard was hit by a car this morning at 5:30am, according to an ABS-CBN report.
According to the report, the man was able to dodge a taxi but not the other approaching car. He suffered a broken right arm, while the car’s windshield was shattered.
The accident caused heavy traffic and it took 30 minutes to clear road.
From Dec 31, 2015 to Feb 24 this year, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority has nabbed 4,189 jaywalkers in Metro Manila.
