Japanese national shot dead in Antipolo

Why does it seem like more brazen crimes are happening each day?

“Earlier this week, Japanese national Kazuki Tzuya was shot dead by two motorcycle-riding men while he was waiting for a ride in Antipolo City,” reports Madelynne Dominguez in Tempo.

According to Senior Supt. Bernabe Balba, Rizal police provincial director, the victim was declared dead on arrival at Amang Rodriguez Medical Center.

The report said that “Tzuya was waiting for ride near the footbridge in front of the SM Masinag on Marcos Highway at about 2pm when two men riding on a motorcycle stopped in front of him.”

Witnesses say the one of the men got off the motorcycle and fired shots at the victim several times.

The gunman then got back on the motorcycle and fled with his companion.

The report revealed that “Tzuya had a pending civil suit against his ex-wife regarding their conjugal apartment units in Novaliches.”
