It’s the small-time thieves who are easily caught.

“A 67-year-old Iranian national named Ramezan Yousefabad was arrested for theft after he allegedly tried to steal a prepaid card from a 7-Eleven store in Malibay, Pasay City,” reports  Jeffrey C. Tiangco on Journal Online.

According to the report, “Joebert Avero, security guard at the said store, told police that he caught the suspect taking the prepaid card without paying it.”

Avero related that Yousefabad “got mad at him when he tried to accost him, prompting him to call the attention of the store manager, who called the police.”

Yousefabad, is now detained at Pasay City Police detention cell and is facing theft charges before the Pasay City Prosecutor’s Office.
