The Ninoy Aquino International Airport on Thursday temporarily closed its international runway for emergency repair, its operator said.

The international runway will reopen at 1 p.m. The domestic runway will remain open for flight operations, the Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) said.

Thirteen flights were affected by this morning’s runway closure. Six of the flights were redirected to Clark International Airport.

Jets as large as the Airbus A320 can land and take-off using the domestic runway, MIAA said.
