Once again, here’s another move that wasn’t thought about carefully.
“The Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) has postponed the integration of terminal fees into the cost of airline tickets. The implementation will be on November 1, instead of October 1, to give airlines and travel agencies more time to adjust,” reports ABS-CBNnews.com.
Moreover, as the report revealed. “MIAA said they also need to factor in those who are exempted from paying terminal fees such as overseas Filipino workers, pilgrims and athletes.”

In fact, the report noted that “various OFW groups have earlier opposed the integration of terminal fees into airline tickets.”
The report pointed out: “With the MIAA’s new policy, Migrante International said OFWs will have to pay the terminal fee when they buy their airline tickets, then get a refund later.”
