Finally! We can now post better, more accurate photos of MRT’s long-ass lines on Instagram.

On Thursday, the photo-sharing app announced it’s breaking away from its square mold. In latest update, portrait and landscape formats have been added to the image-sharing application.

“Square format has been and always will be part of who we are,” Instagram said in a blog post.

“We know that it hasn’t been easy to share this type of content on Instagram: friends get cut out of group shots, the subject of your video feels cramped, and you can’t capture the Golden Gate Bridge from end to end.”

Or the beautiful Manila Bay sunset for that matter. Now, isn’t that truly deserving of the landscape format as well?

That said, take your best shot, upload it and tag us on Instagram, will you? We’re having a ball there, as well.
