“The families of inmates have already set up camp outside the New Bilibid Prison (NBP) in Muntinlupa City while they are waiting for the restoration of the visitation rights of their loved ones,” reports Dennis Datu on ABS-CBNnews.com.
The report recalled: “Justice Secretary Leila de Lima suspended the visitation privileges of all inmates in the NBP early this month following the explosion that hit the facility’s maximum security compound that left one inmate dead and 19 others injured. She said their visitation rights will remain suspended until gang leaders produce the people responsible for the blast.”
The families of the inmates have stated that “not all inmates should be punished for the explosion.”
