On Sun, Dec 27, New Bilibid Prison (NBP) Superintendent Richard Schwarskopf confirmed that an inmate had managed to escape from the Maximum Security Compound. They had made the discovery on the same day.
Apparently, the inmate used a rake with a rope to pull off the prison break. The theory is that he tied a rope around the rake and used it to climb the wall.
“A source said the inmate, who is identified only as alias ‘Teteng,’ was from Dorm 12-B of the Maximum Security Compound. Teteng was said to be a former member of Batman Gang 357,” reports Tetch Torres-Tupas on Inquirer.net.
