Inday makes a ‘wet statement’ on her way out

The storm is making its presence felt on its way out.

“According to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA), at 4am on Thursday, July 31, the eye Tropical Storm Inday was estimated at 580 kilometers northeast of Basco, Batanes with maximum sustained winds of 75 kilometers per hour (kph) and gustiness of up to 90 kph,” reports Manila Bulletin.

Inday is forecast to move north by northwest at 17 kph.

This means Metro Manila, Central Luzon, CALABARZON, Bicol region, Cagayan Valley, and Western Visayas will experience occasional rains.

The MIMAROPA region will have cloudy skies with light to moderate rainshowers and thunderstorms.

The rest of the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.
