This photo greeted us first thing in the morning when we logged on to social media. It was all over our feed, not to mention in our inboxes, emailed to us by our lovely Coconauts.
Of all the placards seen during the 5-day INC rally, they say, this is the only one made sense.
“Wala kami sa kalsada ngayon kung hindi kami pumunta dito,” it reads, referring the more popular “Wala kami sa kalsada ngayon kung hindi pinakikialaman ang iglesia” signage that was all over EDSA last weekend.
In the deep recesses of our hearts, we know this is photoshopped. But we can’t tell for sure because look at the shadow! It’s exactly where it’s supposed to be.
Makes us wonder if this is an obra by our favorite internet troll, BJ Bernales.
Well, whatever. Photoshopped or not, thank you to whoever made this. You made us laugh. Hard.
