The Bureau of Immigration intercepted a Kuwaiti national wanted in Angeles City for sexually abusing a minor.
Immigration commissioner Ricardo David Jr. said BI agents arrested Ismail Hussain Nazar as he arrived at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport on May 13.
The BI was acting on a tip from non-government organization International Justice Mission. IJM said Nazar was in the Philippines to meet another victim at a hotel in Clark Field, Angeles City.
Nazar, who has been on the BI’s lookout list since March, was turned over to the National Bureau of Investigation who served him an arrest warrant from an Angeles City court.
