“The crowd that held a rally and vigil for two nights at the Department of Justice (DOJ) left after it was addressed by the Iglesia ni Cristo spokesman who called on the government to respect the doctrines of the religious group,” reports GMA News Online.
The report also noted that “the group that gathered in front of the Megamall on EDSA already marched to the corner of the major highway and Shaw Boulevard.”
A 7:30pm advisory from the Metro Manila Development Authority (MMDA) disclosed that “around 1,000 participants in the group’s rally on EDSA Ortigas caused moderate to heavy traffic in the northbound section.”
