If elected President, VP Binay plans to set up Malacañang in Cebu and Mindanao

Let the campaign promises fly.

During a campaign sortie in Pantao Ragat, Lanao del Norte on Tue, Feb 23, Vice President Jejomar Binay presented his idea on how he would “decentralize” the government, reports Marc Jayson Cayabyab on Inquirer.net.

Translation: “I promise you that I will personally address the problems besetting Mindanao. My plan is to establish a Malacañang in Cebu. Similary, I will build a Malacañang here in Mindanao.”

Translation: “Such is to address all the problems here. I will establish my office here in Mindanao because I will see to it that local governments will experience the true meaning of decentralization and devolution. I will administer local autonomy.”
