Hybrid Buses will begin working their way around the streets of Makati starting Wednesday
According to local bus operator Green Frog Zero Emissions Transport, the buses will begin going through the M1 route going to and from Kalayaan Avenue to Gil Puyat Avenue.
The firm’s managing director and founder, Philip Apostol, said they hope to provide the Filipino public with environmentally safe and reliable mass transportation. “It is time to move our public transportation to First World standards,” he added.
The company will start by providing two buses to gauge the commuter’s acceptance as well as to test out the system. They hope to bring eight more buses by July, Fare for these hybrid buses is a flat PHP15, the Philippine Star reported.
