During the DU31 victory party at the Crocodile Farm in Davao City last Sat, Jun 4, merchandise featuring the image of incoming President Rodrigo Duterte sold briskly. But he wasn’t the only Duterte with his face on shirts.
The shirts featuring the image of the incoming President’s son Sebastian “Baste” Duterte were also selling fast.
“(Baste) has become very popular. We had many requests from women for t-shirts,” shop owner Carlo Laude, 34, told Joel Guinto of ABS-CBN News.
Laude then added that 80 percent of his “Baste” t-shirt inventory is in women’s sizes. Now, we know the target audience for the said shirts. (As if we didn’t!)
