Despite not being the No. 1 pick in pre-election surveys, vice-presidential aspirant Senator Gringo Honasan remains optimistic about his chances at winning the vice presidency.
In an interview on ANC’s Headstart on Wed. Apr 13, Honasan said, “This is not a 100-meter dash. This is a marathon. What matters is that one inch before the finish line tape — that’s what I’m aiming for.”
He added that winning the elections now “depends on the electorate, depends on how far [he] can reach out to them and educate them about the issues.”
