This story deserves to be turned into a movie.
“Eduardo Olegario, 49, the primary suspect in a homicide case 23 years ago was nabbed after his victim’s son traced him through Facebook,” reports Larry P. Fabian in Manila Bulletin.
The victim in the case is one Ricardo Tumbaga, who was stabbed to death by Olegario on September 15, 1991 on Abanao Street, Baguio City.
The report explained: “There had been no trace of Olegario until Tumbaga’s son, Ronald, accidentally found a photograph of the suspect posted on Facebook.”
Then, after tracing the Facebook account, Ronald alerted the police. On May 23, Olegario was finally arrested.
Olegario is now detained at the Baguio City Jail.
