Holy Week spot: Interactive Stations of the Cross at BGC

Now on its 8th year, the Church Simplified has once again set up the Walkway Reflections of the Stations of the Cross at the Bonifacio Global City (BGC) in Taguig in time for Holy Week.

For non-Catholics, Catholic Online provides a brief description: “The Stations of the Cross are a 14-step Catholic devotion that commemorates Jesus Christ’s last day on Earth as a man. The 14 devotions, or stations, focus on specific events of His last day, beginning with His condemnation. The stations are commonly used as a mini pilgrimage as the individual moves from station to station. “

In any case, the Stations of the Cross at BGC are interactive and even use art installations. In a Bandila feature, Bebo Bharwani, a Church Simplified pastor, pointed out, “We even have a giant ballot box and ballots where people can write down…not the names of candidates…but the values that they want a leader to have.”
