Like we said before, assassins on motorcycles seem to be coming out of the woodwork.
“On Thursday night, Dec 19, Carol Fortun, the wife of lawyer Raymond Fortun was shot in the face right in front of their home in Las Pinas,” reports ABS-CBNnews.com. The lawyer was not at home at the time because his flight from Iloilo had been delayed.
The report noted: “Carol was attacked by two suspects on a motorcycle after she alighted from her vehicle at around 8pm. She was shot in the cheek and the bullet went through her nape. She was immediately brought to the Perpetual Help Hospital and is now in stable condition.”
In a dzMM interview, Atty. Fortun said that he thinks the shooting is related to his job as a lawyer. Fortun is a high-profile lawyer and counts celebrities like Kris Aquino as his clients. He is also the lawyer of Marianne Cayton, the owner of the Two Serendra Unit which was wrecked in an explosion last May. On top of that, Fortun does wedding photography.
