A ‘Chinese-looking’ woman was found dead behind the National Press Club (NPC) Building in Manila at around 4am on Sun, Jul 31. according to a GMA News report.
According to the report, the victim was found with her hands tied and her mouth covered with duct tape. The victim also has bullet wounds on her side and cheek.
Just like most of the recent drug-related deaths, a cardboard sign was found next to the victim with the words “Chinese Drug Lord.”
After observations, the authorities told GMA News that the mestiza victim “seem to be a child of a well-to-do family,” which is unlike the other victims of these alleged drug-related killings.
The NPC Building is along Calle Muelle del Rio near Jones Bridge in Binondo, one of the main thoroughfares in this busy part of the metro.
