Habagat Sounds: Music for victims of ‘Maring’

Crowd-funding site Artiste Connect has come up with a digital download compilation to collect money for the victims of Tropical Storm “Maring.”

Habagat Sounds has 96 tracks already and Artiste Connect says more tracks are coming. The compilation is a subscription and is meant to collect money for victims of future calamities too.

Donations of P100, P500, or P1,000 gets you access to a folder of original music by musicians who contributed tracks to the compilation.

Artiste Connect says Habagat Sounds, which aims to raise P50,000 by September 15, is a non-profit project and it has waived its standard fee for the project.

In 2012, Artiste Connect also released a compilation to raise funds for victims of Typhoon “Gener”. Habagat Sounds contains tracks from that compilation too.
