If you ever get caught in an awkward situation, remember that it’s probably not as bad as what this guy and his Grab driver went through.

On Tuesday, radio DJ Jobim Javier shared how he overheard a fight between his Grab driver and the driver’s wife. He said it all started when the wife accidentally called the driver while she was apparently getting it on with another man.

“So my Grab driver has his phone hooked up to his car via Bluetooth and his wife butt dialed him and five seconds into saying ‘hello’ over and over again, we are realizing that she’s CHEATING ON HIM!! I AM DYINGGGG,” the first from a series of live tweets from Javier reads.

As if to confirm their suspicions, Javier said that they allegedly heard the woman call someone “daddy” who she told to “let go of her panties.”

Understandably, the driver was fuming.

Javier continued to tweet that the driver called his wife back to confront her about what they had just heard.

The driver then questioned his wife about where she is and who she’s with, to which she replied in Filipino: ‘Junior (presumably their son) does not have milk anymore, I just bought milk.’

The probe continued until the Grab driver asked: ‘If I call D, will he answer? Are you together, huh??’

The woman apparently “cracked” upon hearing this and started to beg her husband to come home and talk about it.

Javier said the driver finally hung up and turned to him to say: “You know sir, it’s really difficult when you’ve been married for a long time. But I can’t do anything about it. It’s her I picked.”

The thread has gone viral on Twitter with Javier’s first tweet at 13,974 retweets and 36,871 likes as of this story’s posting.

Predictably, other Twitter users didn’t hold back in sharing what they thought of the incident.

User @pANAcotta_ said she wouldn’t know what to do if she were in the same situation as Javier.

@Grshwn_ criticized the wife for using their son as a coverup and jokingly gave her some advice: “If you’re gonna cheat, you gotta do better.”

@nikolodeonss commended the driver for at least keeping (relatively) calm while driving.

Since we really only have Javier’s account of the event, we can’t be totally sure if this actually happened or was just a really engaging work of Twitter fiction, but here’s the full thread of tweets if you want to decide for yourself.
