Guns aren’t for everyone and not everyone should be allowed to have guns.
Licensed firearms owners, though, will be most welcome at the Firearms Enthusiasts’ Day on Saturday, April 20. The event, organized by the Association of Firearms and Ammunitions Dealers and the country’s top gun clubs, is meant to foster a free exchange of ideas on gun issues.
“From gun ownership to the ‘Oplan Katok’ campaign of the Philippine National Police, a no-holds barred discussion will be held to enlighten and guide individuals on the legalities concerning firearms,” AFAD said.
The event starts at 3:00 p.m. and will be held at the Metro Tent in Metrowalk in Pasig City. AFAD promises a retro music band and a raffle for eight pistols.
“If peace is your concern, be there and be counted,” AFAD said. If ticket prices are your concern, they shouldn’t be. It’s a free event.
