Five out of 15 alleged members of the Moro National Liberation Front (MNLF) who arrested on Election Day in Tondo, Manila,have been charged with gun ban violations and illegal possession of firearms and ammunition.
The 15 men immediately identified themselves as MNLF members. However, they are originally from Davao province and Compostela Valley. They were arrested at Rosauro Almario Elementary School, which at that time was serving as a polling center, which served as a polling precinct during election day. They were arrested because they failed to show Comelec gun ban exemption papers, Inquirer News reported.
