When businessman Cedric Lee and his co-accused in the mauling of Vhong Navarro, Simeon “Zimmer” Raz went into hiding in one of their friend’s houses in the town of Oras, Eastern Samar, there was a point when they heard the authorities were close by.
“As such, they stayed for a day in one of the coconut fields near their friend’s home. While in hiding, they only ate coconuts,” reports ANC.
Eventually, though, Lee and Raz got cornered by the authorities.
That means the last they ate as free men were coconuts. They are now back in Manila being readied for jail time for their serious illegal detention case.
