Sometimes, somebody else’s failure becomes your good luck.
“On Saturday afternoon, Mar 22, two unidentified men on a motorcycle threw a grenade at Police Community Precinct (PCP) 5, which is located at the corner of Lapu-Lapu and Bangus Streets Barangay North Bay Boulevard South in Navotas City,” reports Rey Galupo in The Philippine Star.
Luckily, as the report revealed, the fragmentation grenade failed to explode. Investigators have yet to determine the motive for the attack on PCP 5.
Witnesses said the two men on wore helmets and their motorcycle had no license plate.
However, this really isn’t a case for celebration, as a grenade attack on a Smokey Mountain police station also happened last Thursday, Mar 20. That attack hurt three people.
