Grenade hurled along Taft Avenue, fails to explode

Thank goodness for small mercies.

“On Monday morning, August 18, a grenade was hurled at a business establishment along Taft Avenue, near Pedro Gil Street in Manila, but it failed to explode,” reports Noel Alamar on ABS-CBNnews.com.

The report said that members of the Manila Police District (MPD) Explosives and Ordnance Division “still had to detonate the grenade.”

The police have not yet released more details about the incident, as the investigation is ongoing.
