It often seems like we’re trapped in a bad action movie.
“A hand grenade allegedly carried by men riding tandem on a motorcycle Thursday morning exploded on the southbound lane of the Del Pan bridge in Tondo, Manila on Thursday, August 14,” reports Inquirer.net.
According to Radyo Inquirer, “the still-unidentified men attempted to hurl the grenade towards an SUV passing through the bridge.”
However, the report said that “the grenade fell from the hand of the supposed thrower and exploded as it landed on the pavement.”
The investigation is ongoing. Police say no additional details could be released yet.
P.S. It’s worth noting that the Del Pan Bridge has also been renamed as the “Roxas Bridge.”
