So GrabTaxi recently underwent a rebranding because they wanted all their services under one name. Grab Taxi, Grab Car, Grab Express, Grab Jeep and the recently suspended Grab Bike are now collectively known as Grab.
What we didn’t expect is for them to actually include horseback rides in their list of transportation services.
On their Facebook page, Grab posted that the GrabHorse service will be available for riders at the Panagbenga Festival on Feb 26 to 28 at the Wright Park, Mines View, The Mansion, and Pacdal Area.
The service will be available from 8am to 12 noon and 2pm to 6pm.
Smells like a marketing stunt. At the very least, we hope that the horses will be treated well. We also hope that this means good income for the kucheros of Baguio.
