Guess this Grab driver really just needed his milk tea fix.

Twitter user @patriciaserinoo shared a now-viral tweet over the weekend that tells the story of how her Grab driver asked her to order him milk tea before he was to pick her up from an Infinitea branch in Marikina City.

“My [Grab] driver asked me to buy him milk tea! Cute HAHA,” wrote @patriciaserinoo in the tweet posted on Saturday.

A photo of their conversation can also be seen in the tweet.

“What do you want? We can still order [milk tea] for you,” Serino asked the driver Rolando Garcia Jr.

“[I want] wintermelon, is that ok heheheh I’m on my way there I’ll just pay it here [in the car],” Garcia answered.

The next photo shows Garcia in the driver’s seat all smiles and posing with his Wintermelon tea.

Serino’s tweet had over 107,000 likes and 16,000 retweets as of this article’s posting.

It has become so viral that even Grab Philippines’ Twitter account retweeted the photo and said: “Super cute!! Thanks for helping him out! For sure he enjoyed that milk tea fix after a long day. Shoot us a DM with your details so we can send you a GrabFood promo code for your next milk tea craving?”

The ride-hailing app has extended its operations with new features such as GrabFood that allows users to have food delivered to their doorstep.

Other netizens also weighed in on the driver’s little request:

“Kudos to you as a passenger for being cool and game. Others might have reacted differently,” wrote Twitter user @Liplipliper about Serino.

Serino, in response, thanked her.

Another Twitter user recognized Garcia. “I know this guy! Been my grab driver about a month ago. Talkative and kind right?”

Serino replied that he was “super kind and approachable.”

“This is sweeet. [I] [commend] you ate (sister) for your kindness,” wrote @_vinigutierrez.

One user by the handle @cdanielle_ shared that she once asked her Grab driver to buy her food after finding out that he was at a McDonald’s drive-thru.

Without asking questions apart from what drink she wanted, the driver got her order.

“10 stars for you,” the Twitter user wrote.
