President Aquino attempted to dodge the question on gay marriages during a recent forum in Pasay City. But the President nonetheless remained noncommittal to the issue as he discussed how he was thinking about the issue.
“Is that desirable for a child? President Benigno Aquino III on Tuesday said this is one of the things one has to consider before approving of gay marriage,” reports Kimberly Tan of gmanews.tv.
Aquino said the matter must be understood first from the “child’s perspective,” before making any further steps.
He said he did not want to elaborate because his previous comments earned the ire of “someone” who turned the President into a “mortal enemy.”
