Does somebody have a grudge against this mall?
This week, Cubao’s Gateway Mall was hit by two fake bomb threats.
On Friday morning, April 11, an Accenture employee received a text message saying that a bomb planted inside the mall would explode at 8am.
Accenture has an office inside the mall.
On Thursday, April 10, Accenture’s human resource officer Stephanie Lucena also received a similar text message from the same cellphone number.
“In both instances, the Quezon City Police Department (QCPD) Firearms and Ordinance Division immediately searched the mall, but found no trace of explosives,” reports dzMM correspondet Johnson Manabat on ABS-CBNnews.com.
Police are now investigating the cellphone number from where the two bomb threat text messages were sent.
