It wasn’t a very happy celebration for a 52-year-old birthday girl, whose party was interrupted by “gatecrashers”. The robbers were able to take PHP760K from the celebrant and her guests on Sun, Jul 3.
Four male robbers and a female cohort are now being hunted down by the police after they barged into Rosemarie Moreno’s house in Better Living Subdivision.
Moreno and her 14 guests were in the middle of celebrating when the the armed robbers literally gatecrashed and told the celebrant and her guests to lie down on the floor as they gathered all their valuables amounting to PHP760K.
The incident took about 15 minutes.
“Akala ng iba bisita rin sila kaya lang pagpasok ng pinto, naglabas ng baril tapos pinadapa na silang lahat,” said Romantico, according to a Manila Bulletin report.
(“The other visitors thought they were also part of the party but upon entering, they pulled out guns and told them to lie down.”)
The police noted that it was easy for the robbers to escape swiftly, as Moreno’s house is situated just beside the road.
