It’s a good thing nothing else happened.
“A tanker carrying some 10,000 liters of fuel flipped on its side along Litex Road in Payatas, Quezon City at around 2pm on Friday, Jan 17,” reports Reinir Padua in The Philippine Star.
According to the driver, Bonifacio Rafal, the trucK had lost its brakes. The city fire marshal, Superintendent Jesus Fernandez, was called to immediately assess the situation. Luckily, no other mishaps resulted from the tanker flipping over.
