Has this guy never heard of the saying “happy wife, happy life?”
A habal-habal (motorcycle) driver in Zamboanga City is now nursing wounds after his wife stabbed him multiple times because he was out drinking with his friends last night.
According to the police, the unidentified wife was angry at her husband for always getting drunk with his friends, ABS-CBN News reported.
She allegedly told him to come home but he didn’t listen and stayed in the drinking session.
Wrong move, dude.
Upon arriving home, the wife allegedly attacked her husband with a knife, resulting in two deep stab wounds on the man’s arm. He was brought to a hospital and lived to tell the tale — and save his wife from jail time, the same ABS-CBN report states.
Police and village officials brought the woman to the police station for investigation. Her husband followed a few hours later and requested authorities to not put his wife behind bars.
The husband eventually asked his wife for forgiveness and said that it was his fault his wife reacted that way. Because he didn’t file a case, his wife was released by the police.
The husband also promised that he would try not to get drunk with friends anymore.
