We’ll be hosting another state visit.

“Economic and security cooperation as well as climate change mitigation will be high on the agenda in the talks between President Aquino and French President François Hollande during the latter’s visit to the country this week,” reports Genalyn D. Kabiling in Tempo.

The report noted: “Hollande will embark on the state visit to the country on February 26 and 27 upon the invitation extended by Aquino when he was in Paris last September.”

Hollande’s visit marks the first one of a French President since the country’s diplomatic ties with France were established in 1947.

The Department of Foreign Affairs earlier announced that Hollande is expected to bring over a hundred officials, celebrities, and media personalities.
