The Supreme Court says it has free shuttle buses going to the University of Santo Tomas if the weather gets ugly during the four Sundays scheduled for the Philippine Bar examinations.

But the service is only for bar examinees and duty personnel, and passengers will need to present their Notice of Admission Gate Pass and/or an identification pass to the driver.

It has designated six pick-up points for buses that will leave for UST at exactly 6am: Quezon City Memorial Circle, Park and Ride in Lawton, Supreme Court Compound (along Taft Avenue), Coastal Mall Terminal in Parañaque City, Greenbelt and Glorietta, and Marikina Sports Complex.

There will also be vans stationed outside the campus to ferry examinees who cannot enter the compound because of the floods.

Meanwhile, Manila Mayor Joseph Estrada has banned the sale of alcoholic beverage around UST on all Sundays of October while the exams are being conducted.
